The house is located on the Northwest coast of Skye in the Glendale Estate, situated a 15 minute drive from Dunvegan and a 50 minute drive from Portree. Views of the Outer Hebrides will greet you on a clear morning and there is a wealth of wildlife to be seen including eagles, dolphins, whales, basking sharks, otters and kestrels. A 5-10 minute drive away is the multiple award winning Three Chimneys Restaurant and a 5-10 minute drive in the other direction will take you to one of Skye’s most famous, and Britain's highest, cliff walk at Neist Point Lighthouse. In Glendale itself there is a post office which stocks fresh produce as well as a wealth of hardware goods. There are also two very good cafes, Cafe Lephin and the Red Roof Cafe. The nearest full size supermarket’s are the Co-op’s in Portree and Broadford. Dunvegan also has a selection of small shops and restaurants, most notably the Old School Restaurant.

The house itself is a home that has been in our family for over 100 years and in the lounge you will see a selection of it’s previous owners. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard whilst still maintaining many of its best features. You will find a very well stocked kitchen with a gas range cooker, a dining room and separate living room which share a two way wood burning stove for cosy nights in and a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier. Leading out from the dining room are patio doors to a decked area with seating to enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean and the glen.

There is one king sized bedroom downstairs as well as a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there is a king sized bedroom and another bedroom with two singles beds and a bathroom with bath and shower facilities. There is a walled garden around the front of the house and at the rear there is a small, natural waterfall. Sheep roam freely around the property as they have done for generations.
